EDMS Server Product
The Remote Portal aspect of the EDMS system is the primary means for which users will have access to their environmental data that was collected on their premises. In order to set up this portion of the system, customers need to obtain a Customer Number. This will be used when setting up their EDA and for use in any of the access forms that they can use to access or update their system.
Our EDMS customers can obtain this information and have Willabay Design assign a database for them on our server. Some customers may also chose to have the actual MySQL database resident on their own servers. We can easily set this up in that manner.

Willabay Design also supports a set of scripts that serve as the administrative access to the server portion of the EDMS system.

In addition to our standard Remote Portal scripts, the EDMS system also includes an optional means for continually auditing the internal customer database that contains our cusomer’s environmental data. This audit function runs on a routine basis and is designed to detect such things as an EDA host that is not reporting its data to the Remote Portal.
The audit can also detect and correct other internal errors that may develop in the system. This audit function is automatically configured for all MySQL databases that we set up on behalf of a customer.
