Announcing Pending Release Version V4.2.04 of the EDA Application for EDMS
March 29, 2018
The next version of our EDA software for the EDMS system will be available later this spring. This new V4.2.04 release will support an additional Tibbo device and will also support several new Remote Access features that will allow a user to access certain portions of their EDA device remotely. This new access method will be driven by forms on our website.
This new version will be the first to support Tibbo’s EM2001 board with it’s newer G2 processor. This very inexpensive board has Tibbo’s new EM2000 programmable device on the board. This release of our EDA product will support everything on the EM2001 that is currently supported on the TPP2L(G2) with the exception of an LCD capability.
The new capabilities will include the ability to update some of the Email Address parameters from a remote location as well as the ability to update any of the EDA’s environmental threshold parameters from a remote location.
For users that are now utilizing or plan to utilize one of Tibbo’s new G2 devices such as a TPP2L(G2) or the EM2001 board, this new release also supports a new Remote Access method of requesting certain data parameters or other actions from a remote location. As an example, a user can request that the EDA download all of its Email Configuration parameters to our server where a user can access the data using a new form.
Additional documentation for these new features will be available soon.
Any questions regarding this new update can be addressed to Willabay Design via email to dave@willabaydesign.com.
Announcing New V4.2.03 EDMS Documentation
March 7, 2018
Willabay Design has released updated versions of each of the available EDMS and EDA documents. These documents are current as of the recent V4.2.03 release of the EDA software product. See the EDMS Details Page, the EDMS Ordering Page, and Willabay Design Support Page for more information.
Announcing Support for the new EDS MN-ENV-THX Long Range Sensor
November 2, 2017
(UPDATE) Our new V4.2.03 version of our EDA software product is now available .
Embedded Data Systems had introduced a new Meshnet sensor that will allow our EDMS system to be configured with remote sensors over longer distances and with an additional 1-wire sensor capability.
This sensor is their MN-ENV-H-THX – Temperature / Humidity Sensor. Additonal information can be found at the EDS website at www.embeddeddatasystems.com/MN-ENV-H-THX
- This sensor has the capability of supporting up to three additional 1-wire sensors on top of an internal temperature and humidity capability similar to their MN-ENV-TH sensor. These additional sensors are physically attached to the base sensor itself in a standard 1-wire fashion.
- This new sensor can be installed over much longer distances from the base controller (MN-CTRL) than their original Meshnet sensor line.
Because of the need to retain a larger amount of internal information for this new sensor, Willabay Design can only fully support an EDA for this new sensor on Tibbo devices that are based on Tibbo’s new Generation 2 platforms. At the present time, this is restricted to Tibbo’s TPP2L(G2) TPS Platform. However, this updated V4.2.03 release will allow a THX sensor to be used with any of our supported Tibbo platforms. If the platform is not a Generation 2 platform, the new 1-wire sensors are not utilized but the sensor can be still be used as a long distance version of the standard TH sensor.
- Support for this new MN-ENV-H-THX sensor required a new EDA base load thus the need to add this support in our V4.2.02/03 versions of the EDA product. The new MN-ENV-H-THX sensor will now be recognized as a valid sensor on V4.2.03 product for the DS1101 or TPP2L( G1). This will allow customers to use this new sensor in long range applications where it behaves just like a standard MN-ENV-TH sensor.
- Willabay Design may support additional Generation 2 devices in the future but the TPP2L(G2) is the only one that is supported at the present time.
- Check out Tibbo’s site for more details on this new platform. New Tibbo TPS Platform

Additional Information on the capabilities of this new TPS release will soon be available.
Willabay Design Announces a New Release of our EDA Product for EDMS
February 26, 2017
A new V4.1.05 version of our EDA software product is now available.
The new EDA Software Release for the EDMS System is V4.1.05. This version corrects a few problems in the V4.1.05 release of the product that was released in February.
This release may be installed on top of a V4.1.03 build or as a fresh installation on a supported Tibbo platform.
The V4.1.03 release allowed for the exact time of measurement to be captured from an EDS Meshnet controller and sent to our remote portal database. All database queries now contain this date and time information.
The V4.1.05 release is required for our new server interface hosting service. Additional improvements have been made to the products web pages.
The V4.1.02 release was the first version of the EDA product that could support Tibbo’s new, high performance, version of their TPS TPP2 platform. The EDA is now supported on Tibbo’s DS1101, TPS TPP2 Generation 1, and TPS TPP2 Generation 2 platforms.
Check out Tibbo’s site for more details on this new platform.
EDA product builds for other Tibbo platforms may be available on a special order basis. Contact Willabay Design at sales@willabaydesign.com for more information.
EDMS Customer Database Access Now Available
April 2, 2016
The Willabay Design EDMS system allows property owners or managers to remotely monitor the temperature or humidity at their properties, even if those properties are distributed over a wide area. In addition to the on-site EDA portion of the EDMS system, Willabay Design is now able to support customer setup of their own Remote Portal on our server.
For the immediate future, this custom setup option will be supported by Willabay Design via an email request. Check out the EDMS EDA software product pages for more information. EDMS Product Listings
