Supported Tibbo Products

Tibbo Technologies in Taiwan manufactures programmable embedded devices that support user applications written in Tibbo Basic and more recently, C. These devices range from tiny microprocessor assemblies on a module to full blown controllers. Tibbo also supports their own development environment called TIDE for users to develop their applications. Willabay Design has developed several applications for these devices; two of which are described on these pages.

The Tibbo devices that are supported by our software applications are all web servers. Some of the devices support additional functions in addition to the web serving function, including I/O operations which can detect the state of various inputs or control an output.

At the present time, the only Tibbo devices supported by the AMMS application are the DS1005  Programmable Controller or the TPP2 version of Tibbo’s TPS system. Tibbo’s newer, second generation, TPP2 (G2) is also supported.

The only devices supported for the EDA portion of the EDMS application are the DS1101 Controller or the TPP2L version of Tibbo’s TPS System. Both Generation 1 (G1) and 2 (G2) versions of the TPP2 product are supported. This TPS TPP2 version has a very nice LCD screen. While Tibbo’s DS1101 is available without it’s OLED screen, the LCD display version is very useful.
